We at Party Peeps are looking to find enthusiastic, fun, bubbly, energetic and creative entertainers to add to our amazing team. Training is provided, it is not necessary to know how to operate our equipment as we will show you how to do that and we’ll coach you in how to deliver our truly unique party experiences. We do expect you to have a fun, energetic personality and be absolutely amazing with children from 3years to 12years old. We’ll show you our tricks to creating an amazing party atmosphere, but you’ll need to be the right candidate to able to learn.
Our Disco Parties are VERY popular throughout Bristol due to the unique and fun structure that we have created with non stop entertainment, games, dancing and competitions. We don't just do the traditional party games, we don't hide behind the dj booth just playing songs, we don't do the norm. We have unique games, fun props, crazy dances and jokes that make our parties fun for every single child (and adult) and stress free for the organiser.
We need to have very engaging entertainers who are very confident with young children and know how to take the stress away from the adults using great customer service skills at all times. You'll need to be able to recognise shy children and know what to do (and what not to do) to allow them to come out of their shell and have a truly awesome time at the party…. Oh and you’ll need to win them over in a matter of seconds.
You will be expected to have ALL children engaged throughout a 2-hour party (excluding food break).……Don’t worry, full training will be given and we will share with you some of the best tips and tricks to make our routine very easy! We will even train you in balloon modelling and magic. And best of all we won’t expect you to wear any embarrassing clown costumes - we provide smart and modern polo shirts to all the team.
We will supply our entertainers with some of the best equipment, we use professional disco equipment with a high expectation on it looking amazing…no mess, tatty looking set-ups with bed sheets hiding wires. If it wouldn't be good enough for a wedding we're not giving it to you to use either.
Over the past 2 years Party Peeps has grown considerably, throughout lockdown we were rated the best children's virtual party entertainer in the UK and served families across the world. Most weeks in lockdown we were delivering over 90 virtual parties a week! Now we are out of lockdown we are fully booked three months in advance most weekends and need more entertainers to create even more fabulous memories. We are always striving for the best, demonstrating excellent creativity for new ideas and stretching ourselves to be awesome. Come and join in the fun. What we do ask is the following:
You MUST have a full driving license and own a vehicle suitable for transporting equipment to and from party venues within Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire. We don't expect you to travel to all areas so please specify on your application which areas you would be willing to cover.
DBS Certificate (previously known as CRB), we can arrange this at a small expense.
You must have experience working with children and be very confident on a microphone infront of adults and children.
We need you to work weekends and maybe some weekday evenings from time to time.
Hours are flexible based around your availability but demand is high and we have plenty of work for the right people.
You must be able to work with basic technology i.e Ipad and set up lighting and sound equipment. We will provide training but you need to have a basic level of understanding.
You must have an absolute 100% no sickness record and have the utmost timekeeping attitude. We do not let a family down for their child’s Birthday party.
There is an opportunity to increase your income with bonus schemes, regular small term targets and the opportunity to work with our sister company Brizzle Booth operating photo booths if this is something you are interested in doing.
Wages are paid on a weekly basis and you will be responsible for paying your own Tax and National Insurance as you will be a self-employed contractor.
