Covid-19 Update

Everywhere is so silent right now.

No cheers of laughter echoing from the village hall. No groups of smiling friends singing Happy Birthday. Not even a car going past the window. Even the Grufalo is social distancing.

We miss hearing these sounds. We miss seeing children with their friends laughing... dancing... singing...creating memories.

We are in strange times but it will end. We will get through this. We'll soon be catching up with friends to share stories of home schooling disasters. And when it is all over we will be ready to party!

We have committed to ensuring that EVERYONE gets their party. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. Maybe not even next weekend. But every child who was expecting to celebrate their Birthday with us will get their big day. No one will miss out. Every booking that is affected by the Covid-19 situation will be able to reschedule their party free of charge (subject to availability).

If you need some help explaining this to your child here's an idea...Tell them they are extra special because this year they get to celebrate TWO birthdays just like the Queen. They get presents on their actual birthday and then even more presents on their second birthday when we have the party. We're so excited to make these parties happen and are preparing to go the extra mile to make it extra special with some surprises for the birthday child and their friends. Until then if you had a party booked with us and would like to receive a personalised video message to brighten up your childs day just email us at and we'll send you a video on the day they should have been having their birthday.

Finally a top tip for you, the organiser! It's hard planning parties and now you're having to do it twice. We're working hard to develop an invitation that you can easily send out to parents of your childs friends to get the rescheduled date out there ASAP. Now we must say that the remainder of the year already has many bookings in the diary with July, September, October, November and December often being our busiest months of the year. With this in mind we would recommend choosing a date as soon as you can. We've already been very busy rebooking some customers dates for them. Don't worry about the uncertainty of the situation; no one knows when this will be over but when it is there will be a surge in people making up for lost time and we cannot guarantee availability. If your rescheduled date is also affected by the Governments social distancing guidelines we will simply postpone it again and continue to transfer your deposit over to a new date at no extra cost to you.
