Family Foam Party South West
We've got you covered (in foam and fun) during the heatwave!

As i type this it's 29degrees outside as the UK basks in blue skies and sunshine. It's Thursday 19th June 2025 and the heatwave is set to bake the UK until Monday.

This weekend we're hosting a series of events and parties... We're at festivals in Berkshire, summer fayres in Bristol and the Cotswolds, hosting Cancer Research UK's Race for Life in Bristol and a full weekend of Birthday parties.

Keeping everyone safe is priority and our team of professional entertainers and performers have great resources to keep them hydrated from free water and suncream available to checklists for everything else to keep them comfortable when bringing the fun vibes. But i'm also sending out this afternoon communications to all our customers with some advice and top tips for keep their events safe and enjoyable during the heatwave.

We're professionals that take having fun seriously. During storm warnings we quickly instigated our storm weather plan which involved booking hotels for staff to minimise travel and back up plans to ensure parties and events continue safely without a hitch. This weekend is similar, call us the Heatwave Heroes.

Below are some tips i'd like to share with anyone that can make use of them, if you're planning a kids party this weekend, whether with Party Peeps or not, read on and let's live the moment.

  1. Stay Hydrated!

Encourage kids to bring a drinks bottle with them, it'll avoid them getting drinks mixed up with other children and spillages. Throughout the party our host will have fun ways to encourage kids to stay hydrated. Kids get thirsty fast in the heat!

  2. Shade is Your Best Friend

Close the curtains of venues when you arrive to keep the sun from heating up the room, open windows to allow a breeze. If opening a door ensure it is closed when kids arrive to avoid any escaping.

  3. Add that snow machine!

Bring some cool vibes to your party by adding that snow machine!

  4. Frozen Treats Galore

Ice lollies, frozen fruit skewers, or ice poles are perfect party snacks. You can even make your own with juice and silicone moulds.

  5. Dress Code: Cool & Comfy

Suggest loose-fitting, light-coloured clothing and sun hats in your invites. You could even go with a “Beach Party” or “Tropical Island” theme to make it fun!

If you'd like more party advice we're in this scorcher just ask! We're your heatwave heroes... afterall this isn't our first sunny rodeo!
